UPD Distribution was a budding corporation in desperate need of a web-presence. They hired a designer to build them a monster of a site which was completely Flash-based, but like so many designs and projects we come across, the designer had to abandon the project, and it was left undone, and on the World Wide Web! Yikes! The CEO of UPD contacted ECG! to perform nothing short of a miracle, and we jumped at the challenge. UPD desired an innovative design, based off the idea of a catalog or brochure, and something they had never seen before. ECG! created a paneling system which was modular, light, and robust. The key feature was that if screenshots were printed, it would just make sense and flow like a brochure, but that it was creative and strong enough to stand on its own on the web. Within 2 weeks of the launch, visitors multiplied 800%! When the CEO called us to tell us he almost couldn't handle the increase in business and couldn't be happier, we knew we had done our job. We went on to redesign all of UPD's logos and branding including the design of a unique font mirrored throughout their collateral.
